No Pressure

Assalamualaikum everybadi.
I thought of posting about my 5 boys but then again I got the laziness streaming in me. And since now everyone is talking about continuing their studies here and there, there's this pressure that rises. Many people felt it and are feeling it.

'Weh, siapa dapat offer/interview dari ....'?'
'Weh, aku cuak ni. Macam mana nk pergi interview ni?'

Hah, this doesn't concern anyone I know ;)
But, the point is that people my age are going bananas because of this matter. It's either, I got it! or No luck for me:(. Which one am I?

No luck for me:(

Hahhhh, serves you right Zazi! Then, out of the blue, when the wolves are howling and the skies turn grey, you tend to have this pressure. Not the SPM kind of pressure or making the choice kind of pressure, but the pressure that you are not one of them. The pressure that you don't belong with those who made it. That, my friend, is called self pressure.
Cewahh, pandai pandai je.
A part of that is true though.
So now, it gets disturbing when people ask if I got anything yet. So hear hear. I will answer your question dear earthlings.

I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY INTERVIEWS/OFFERS FOR ANY SCHOLARSHIPS

Yet, I hope.
Well let me tell you a tale, a true story.

My dad's friend's daughter, aged 22 by now, is a very educated girl. VERY educated. She got 10A1 for her SPM in 2007. But, she didn't get any scholarships at all. Not ONE. Her parents were pretty upset. But they were pretty well-paid parents, I mean loaded. So they paid for her A-Levels at a private college and she got all straights, excellent results in her A-Levels. She got offered a scholarship at the University of Economics in UK if I'm not mistaken. She didn't have to apply, she got it on the spot. See? See? SEE?

What happens now is nothing compared to what the future will bring. If you're not getting anything NOW, you will LATER. But the only way so, work hard. Work hard baby, and the All Mighty will finish it for you.

That, is sort of my game plan. I'm still waiting for other scholarships but I'm not hoping too hard because a piece of me had fallen four stories below. MARA, yes I am going to apply for the loan. But most probably, I'll be heading to a private college. Haih, i don't know. We'll see. If I get the chance to take my A-Levels, I will work harder than my SPM. Pff, I'll try though ;) No more wasting time and ma parents' money.

Conclusion, if you are in the same condition as I am, no worries. You'll have your time. And when it comes, no more lengah-lengah. Get to it. Most importantly, no pressure.
