Keisha Live Long

Assalamualaikum. I forgot to wish my lil' sister on this whatsoever blog. So, here goes.

Fuh, 14 years seems so long and unbelievable for a cat to live that long. But, miracles happen right? I would like to share my feelings for her and for those who used to ask, 'when will she die?', here's to you.

'Jajee ni tak pernah nangis kat asrama, kalau ye pun, mesti sebab kucing dia. Bukan sebab homesick.'
Yeah, part of it is true. I DID cry once in a while but very very rarely. But one day, I called my parents on a Sunday and I got news from them about Keisha. They told me that Keisha ran away from home last Friday. And they just found her. Keisha wandered off somewhere and they couldn't find her. They looked around the house, the neighbourhood, the streets, tough luck. It was late at night, yet my parents and Najwa went on with the search. They stopped when it was too late at night. The next day, luckily it was a Saturday, they continued searching. Still, no luck. Najwa printed posters, PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU FIND HER. I still have that poster on my bedroom door. That night it rained. I think my mum cried that night, I think. If I was there, I would. Keisha's our family, loosing a child would be similar.
My dad called his friend to help find Keisha (not the typical bomoh-bomoh thingy, but I don't know), and this was what they got. 'She's under a tree, she's safe.' So they searched on. And to their surprise, Keisha was there, on a Sunday morning, under a small tree/bush. Her leash was somewhere else, but she was safe. And guess what, she was just so near to out house.
When that story hit me that day, I thought, okay. She's safe. I was quite upset it they took three days just to tell me, but little did people know, I cried like hell afterwards. I scrunched up in my bed, stared at the wall, and cried.
'Hek e leh, untuk kucing je pun nak nangis bagai.'
Hello, having a 14 years bond is not that simple, wise head.
Every time Keisha ran away from home, it hurts. Why? Because my dad once said, 'If a cat runs away from home, it means it will die. Cats won't die in front of their owners. They hate to see their owners cry.'
So for those who always ask me when will Keisha die, that is why I get upset when someone asks that. It's the same as asking me, when will you mum die? When will your dad die? So, suck up
If someone says that to me again, I wouldn't care less but if someone does ask, and it happens, I'll track you down and kill you. Seriously, I would.
Well, cats can live until 18 years right?

Happy 14th Birthday Keisha
You're a great pet, friend and sister

Please stay for another 5 years? Wait until I'm married, then I'll let you go. Okay? :'(
