THANK YOU

Assalamualaikum and Alhamdullilah.
For the answers to my prayers, for the happiness to my nervousness and for the gift of a lifetime. To be honest, the feeling I had when I first got my results was Oh and Alhamdullilah. My brain was uploading, and my eyes were dizzy because I was trying to count how many pluses there were. Truthfully I was kind of sad, disappointed and all those feeling came all together. I knew somehow I let Mama and Abah down by not getting those straight A+, but they seemed happy. And my GCE-O was an A1, which made me happy for once. Thank Allah, that's it.
Kina, I understand how you feel. I felt the exact same way.
Being among the best was hard to deal with. Those friends who got so much better than I did was really really hard, for me at least. Of course, some of my friends got much better results than I did. And sincerely, I am happy for everyone of them. But there is that bit in me which said, Zazi, tengok tu. Diorg kalahkan Zazi! And that made me real devastated. It's not that I hate them for getting the best, but a part of me went the other way around.
But then I thought, Ya Allah, what I have is more than enough. Maybe the way they worked was harder, even though you did not see it. Maybe the way they prayed was harder, because you know how little you prayed. Just thank Allah, cause what He gave you is always better than what you think you should get.
And for those who ALMOST made it, it's fine. It's not the end, as most say. There's a reason. who knows, if you got if all, you may take the wrong path and loose it all. Najwa got 6a when she had her SPM, but in a few years, insyaAllah, she'll make more than RM10000 for starters. It's what you choose and decide that is important. And Alhamdullilah once again, my parents are experts in choosing the best hehe
